Accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior in June, 1987 after being an occasional pew warmer since childhood.
October, 1987 reaccepted Christ as her personal Savior, just to be on the safe side. Three months later, led her husband to Christ after he noticed something “different.”

Lifelong heart patient. Two open-heart surgeries (first one at age 25) to correct congenital heart defects. Join her in the bathroom (great acoustics!) and you can hear her artificial heart valves click!
Widowed at the age of 42, leaving her with two young children to raise.
Remarried to Mike Galdonik, a short-term mission leader and all-around Minnesotan nice guy.

2001: Rudy’s son, Brad solo-hiked the Appalachian Trail as a 16 year-old junior in high school.
2003: Brad broke the world record solo-hiking the world’s longest trail: the Pacific Crest Trail . He hiked Mexico to Canada in 67 days!
Short-term mission leader. Led teenagers, along with her second husband, to the slums of Mexico to build houses for homeless families. Now, summers are spent teaching English at a short-term mission camp in Germany.
Serves on Women & Infants Patient and Family Advisory Council.
